Mega Infra Blitz: PM Modi to Launch ₹22,655 Crore Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for infrastructure and development projects worth approximately ₹22,655 crore across Gujarat, Daman, and Lakshadweep, covering sectors such as transportation, power, industrial infrastructure, healthcare, civil aviation, tourism, and maritime connectivity.

According to official sources, the projects include investments of around ₹18,800 crore in Gujarat, ₹2,970 crore in Daman, and ₹885 crore in Lakshadweep. Among the major initiatives is the inauguration of a new terminal building at NAMO Airport in Daman, aimed at strengthening regional air connectivity and supporting future passenger growth.

In Gujarat, the Prime Minister will dedicate Packages VI and VII of the Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway to the nation. These sections form part of the eight-lane access-controlled corridor designed to improve high-speed connectivity, enhance logistics efficiency, and facilitate economic integration between Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Additionally, the foundation stone will be laid for the four-laning of key stretches of National Highway-56, a project intended to improve connectivity in tribal regions and provide better access to the Statue of Unity. During his visit to Surat’s Hazira region, the Prime Minister is also expected to review ongoing industrial operations and infrastructure projects, highlighting the government's continued focus on economic development and infrastructure expansion.
